It's Potty Time!

Woo hoo!  Taylor stayed completely dry all day long and went poo poo in the "big potty" twice today.  I know it sounds funny, but that is a big milestone for us!  He's been dry all day before, when he just had to pee, but today was the real deal!  Between Taylor's potty treats and poo poo prizes, he racked up today!  Here's hoping this habit will stick and I can return those two boxes of pull-ups I bought this weekend.

The Beginning of Something Wonderful

It was eight years ago today that Brent and I went on our first date.  Who would have thought that dinner at Outback would lead to me finding my best friend and future husband?  It was the start of my own real life fairy tale.  A perfectly cooked steak, great conversation, and a "spark" lead to a truly wonderful life.  I know that God brought Brent into my life and I am so blessed because of him.

Best Buddies

We had just pulled out of our driveway, were heading up the street, and out of the neighborhood when I heard the sweetest little voice from the backseat say... "You're my best friend Mommy."

I'm not sure what made him think of that or even say it.  All I know is that little boy sure does know how to melt my heart.  Without even knowing it, Taylor always seems to find a way to remind me that it really is the little things in life that bring the most joy.
